Marking the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, this New York Times poster declares, “Women Weren’t Given the Right to Vote, They Won It.” Reprinted from a special section in The Times on women’s suffrage, the poster is available unframed or framed.
This poster originally appeared in The Times on Aug. 16, 2020, in a section examining the history of women’s suffrage and the 19th Amendment.
The bottom of the poster gives historical context to the fight for the right to vote: “Women’s demand for a voice in the political process was a radical one, and it took the work of generations of suffragists to make it a reality.”
The poster is available unframed at 13.25″ x 22.25″ or framed in a black wood (3/4″ wide) with plexiglass that measures approximately 14.75″ x 23.75″. Framing comes with hardware attached, ready to hang.
