On Oct. 10, 1896, The New York Times announced, “We begin to-day the publication of a Supplement which contains reviews of the new books …” What has followed, over the subsequent 125 years, is an evolution of literary journalism – reviews, news, essays and interviews that have shaped the course of American letters.
This notecard set includes two sets of four assorted letterpress A6 cards (4.5″ x 6.25″) on thick 100% cotton stock with blind embossed envelopes in Imperial Blue, Candy Pink, Emerald Green, and Pale Grey. The headlines read:

- Fiction Good And Otherwise February 25, 1912
- “What do you read?” she asked him August 14, 1927
- A Memoir Of Uncommon Charm April 23, 1933
